NAMI-NYC Metro is a 30-year-old grassroots organization providing support, education and advocacy for families and individuals who live with mental illness and working collaboratively with other stakeholders in the mental health community to educate the public, advocate for legislation, reduce stigma and discrimination, and improve the mental health system. NAMI-NYC Metro is 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization, and your contributions are tax-deductible. This Web site is made possible through the efforts of state, city and private agencies committed to promoting access to behavioral health care information for all New Yorkers (please click here for a list of our partners). It provides information about behavioral health services, laws, and related news, as well as communication tools and other features.
