Service Program For Older People: Peer Advocate Program

The Peer Advocacy Program offers assistance for seniors (55+) with obtaining benefits and information and referrals by telephone or through outreach tables located at senior centers throughout Manhattan. Services include help accessing benefits such as: Social Security, rent increase exemptions, disability, Medicaid, Medicare, Food Stamps, Access-a-Ride, home care, Elderly Pharmaceutical Insurance Coverage (EPIC), and other help as needed.
